FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer reports Bears quarterback Justin Fields suffered a dislocated thumb in the team's Week 10 loss to the Lions. Fields left the game in the second half and did not return.

There is currently no timetable for Fields' return, but he is considered doubtful to play in Week 11 against the Raiders. If Fields is unable to play, backup quarterback Trevor Siemian will start in his place.

Fields' injury is a major blow to the Bears, who are already struggling at 3-7. The 23-year-old quarterback has been one of the team's few bright spots this season, completing 62.1% of his passes for 1,392 yards, seven touchdowns, and nine interceptions. Fields has also rushed for 760 yards and seven touchdowns, becoming the first quarterback in NFL history to rush for 700 yards in his first 10 starts.

The Bears will now have to rely on Siemian, a 30-year-old journeyman who has started 34 games in his career. Siemian has a 13-21 record as a starter and has thrown for 5,687 yards, 30 touchdowns, and 25 interceptions.

The Bears will need Siemian to step up in a big way if they want to have any chance of making the playoffs this season.
