Two in court over '£1.5m of cannabis' in Peterhead

Two men have appeared in court charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

David Watt, 30, and Paul Johnstone, 42, allegedly had the class B drug in their possession at a property on West Regent Street, Peterhead, on January 5 this year.

Watt, of Elmfield Crescent, Fraserburgh, also faces a charge of being concerned in the supply of cocaine at the same address and on the same date.

Both men made no plea during a private hearing at Aberdeen Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

They were released on bail and are expected to make a further appearance next month.
