PARIS, France (Reuters) - Greek ninth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas has advanced to the quarterfinals of the French Open after a hard-fought four-set victory over Italian qualifier Matteo Arnaldi on Friday.
Despite dropping the opening set 3-6, Tsitsipas rallied to win the next three sets 7-6, 6-4, and 6-2, securing a place in the last eight at Roland Garros.
The 11-time tour-level titlist has been in impressive form throughout the tournament, dropping only two sets en route to the quarterfinals.
